Nico Van Bockstal is a seasoned Governance, Risk and Compliance Expert based in the UAE since 2008.
Before founding Primo Advisors, Nico was the Director GRC Services for Vistra and Total Solutions Middle East.
Prior to moving to Dubai, Nico was head of compliance for Société Générale Private Banking Belgium and Bank J. Van Breda & Co, both based in Belgium.
Nico holds a Master of Law degree issued by KU Leuven Belgium. Nico also holds a European Master in Labour Sciences (UCL Belgium – University Toulouse1 France) and a Law Teaching Degree (KUL Belgium).
He is a certified compliance officer and completed several compliance and risk management professional qualifications issued by several organizations.
Nico’s native language is Dutch, but he is also fluent in English and French. Nico has a basic understanding of German and Spanish.
